It's This Time of the Year

Heck yeah December, how could you be so cold each year?

I've been listening to my Mariah (Oh Santa, All I Want this Christmas) and some Britney (My Only Wish this Year) and yeah, another case of malamig na Pasko.

Fret not, I am used to it... HAHAHA

Anyway, I just thought of being with someone this Christmas. I am planning to roast a chicken on Noche Buena. The idea of sharing this dish with a boylaloo would be cute... whatchathink???

On the Canvas #4

This month, as you can see I am behind, by three days for the 'On The Canvas' post. I am very sorry for that guys! You all know I'm juggling university and work at the same time = no time at all :(
This month, I didn't even find anything that jumped out at me. However, I did dig through all of my photos and came across some old photos of my potential fashion line, Just Jesus Clothing.

I thought to post it because it is something original and I don't want to leave you guys hanging.
Anyway, some background on my t-shirt line:

The reason I want to do this t-shirt line is because I want something colourful for people who don't mind wearing bible scriptures/illustrations of Christian influences on their chest.
Obviously, from these photos, they are not colour haha but I'm getting there - these are prototypes as you've guessed.

The white hoody was a logo, but I've adjusted that since and the second one was just a test of the quality of the t-shirt. Both, as a I said before were prototypes, but I have been designing since, in between uni, work, blogging, sleeping and all the others so I will definitely post them as and when they are finalised.

But anyway, On the Canvas this November is Just Jesus Clothing.

The Seven Deadly Sins of a Relationship

The Seven Deadly Sins of a Relationship

“Remember, we all stumble, every one of us. That’s why it’s a comfort to go hand in hand.” - Emily Kimbrough

Just as important as what you should do is what you shouldn’t do — and I’m sure many of you have stepped into these pitfalls yourselves. I know I have. I’ve learned from my mistakes, and have learned to recognize when I’m making a fatal error, and how to correct it.

If you can avoid these seven things, and focus instead on doing the four things above, you should have a strong relationship. I’m not going to guarantee anything, but I’d give you good odds.

Resentment. This is a poison that starts as something small (”He didn’t get a new roll of toilet paper” or “She doesn’t wash her dishes after she eats”) and builds up into something big. Resentment is dangerous because it often flies under our radar, so that we don’t even notice we have the resentment, and our partner doesn’t realize that there’s anything wrong. If you ever notice yourself having resentment, you need to address this immediately, before it gets worse. Cut it off while it’s small. There are two good ways to deal with resentment: 1) breathe, and just let it go — accept your partner for who she/he is, faults and all; none of us is perfect; or 2) talk to your partner about it if you cannot accept it, and try to come up with a solution that works for both of you (not just for you); try to talk to them in a non-confrontational way, but in a way that expresses how you feel without being accusatory.

Jealousy. It’s hard to control jealousy if you feel it, I know. It seems to happen by itself, out of our control, unbidden and unwanted. However, jealousy, like resentment, is relationship poison. A little jealousy is fine, but when it gets to a certain level it turns into a need to control your partner, and turns into unnecessary fights, and makes both parties unhappy. If you have problems with jealousy (like I once did), instead of trying to control them it’s important that you examine and deal with the root issue, which is usually insecurity. That insecurity might be tied to your childhood (abandonment by a parent, for example), in a past relationship where you got hurt, or in an incident or incidents in the past of your current relationship.

Unrealistic expectations. Often we have an idea of what our partner should be like. We might expect them to clean up after themselves, to be considerate, to always think of us first, to surprise us, to support us, to always have a smile, to work hard and not be lazy. Not necessarily these expectations, but almost always we have expectations of our partner. Having some expectations is fine — we should expect our partner to be faithful, for example. But sometimes, without realizing it ourselves, we have expectations that are too high to meet. Our partner isn’t perfect — no one is. We can’t expect them to be cheerful and loving every minute of the day — everyone has their moods. We can’t expect them to always think of us, as they will obviously think of themselves or others sometimes too. We can’t expect them to be exactly as we are, as everyone is different. High expectations lead to disappointment and frustration, especially if we do not communicate these expectations. How can we expect our partner to meet these expectations if they don’t know about them? The remedy is to lower your expectations — allow your partner to be himself/herself, and accept and love them for that. What basic expectations we do have, we must communicate clearly.

Not making time. This is a problem with couples who have kids, but also with other couples who get caught up in work or hobbies or friends and family or other passions. Couples who don’t spend time alone together will drift apart. And while spending time together when you’re with the kids or other friends and family is a good thing, it’s important that you have time alone together. Can’t find time with all the things you have going on — work and kids and all the other stuff? Make time. Seriously — make the time. It can be done. I do it — I just make sure that this time with my wife is a priority, and I’ll drop just about anything else to make the time. Get a babysitter, drop a couple commitments, put off work for a day, and go on a date. It doesn’t have to be an expensive date — some time in nature, or exercising together, or watching a DVD and having a home-cooked dinner, are all good options. And when you’re together, make an effort to connect, not just be together.

Lack of communication. This sin affects all the others on this list — it’s been said many times before, but it’s true: good communication is the cornerstone of a good relationship. If you have resentment, you must talk it out rather than let the resentment grow. If you are jealous, you must communicate in an open and honest manner to address your insecurities. If you have expectations of your partner, you must communicate them. If there are any problems whatsoever, you must communicate them and work them out. Communication doesn’t just mean talking or arguing — good communication is honest without being attacking or blaming. Communicate your feelings — being hurt, frustrated, sorry, scared, sad, happy — rather than criticizing. Communicate a desire to work out a solution that works for you both, a compromise, rather than a need for the other person to change. And communicate more than just problems — communicate the good things too (see below for more).

Not showing gratitude. Sometimes there are no real problems in a relationship, such as resentment or jealousy or unrealistic expectations — but there is also no expression of the good things about your partner either. This lack of gratitude and appreciation is just as bad as the problems, because without it your partner will feel like he or she is being taken for granted. Every person wants to be appreciated for all they do. And while you might have some problems with what your partner does (see above), you should also realize that your partner does good things too. Does she wash your dishes or cook you something you like? Does he clean up after you or support you in your job? Take the time to say thank you, and give a hug and kiss. This little expression can go a long way.

Lack of affection. Similarly, everything else can be going right, including the expression of gratitude, but if there is no affection among partners then there is serious trouble. In effect, the relationship is drifting towards a platonic status. That might be better than many relationships that have serious problems, but it’s not a good thing. Affection is important –everyone needs some of it, especially from someone we love. Take the time, every single day, to give affection to your partner. Greet her when she comes home from work with a tight hug. Wake him up with a passionate kiss (who cares about morning breath!). Sneak up behind her and kiss her on the neck. Make out in the movie theater like teen-agers. Caress his back and neck while watching TV. Smile at her often.

Bonus sin: Stubbornness. This wasn’t on my original list but I just thought about it before publishing this post, and had to add it in. Every relationship will have problems and arguments — but it’s important that you learn to work out these problems after cooling down a bit. Unfortunately, many of us are too stubborn to even talk about things. Perhaps we always want to be right. Perhaps we never want to admit that we made a mistake. Perhaps we don’t like to say we’re sorry. Perhaps we don’t like to compromise. I’ve done all of these things — but I’ve learned over the years that this is just childish. When I find myself being stubborn these days, I try to get over this childishness and suck it up and put away my ego and say I’m sorry. Talk about the problem and work it out. Don’t be afraid to be the first one to apologize. Then move past it to better things.

Guide to Cultivating Fabulous Friendships!

Guide to Cultivating Fabulous Friendships!
A good friend is a connection to life – a tie to the past, a road to the future, the key to sanity in a totally insane world. - Lois Wys
Few people would dispute the benefits of friendship. Friendship cannot be created once. It must be created over and over again. People and priorities change. What worked yesterday may not work today. We must nurture our friendships so they may flourish with us through our changing lives, and that’s where this guide comes in. The problem seems to be how to fit our friends into an already overcrowded life.

Choose friends wisely. Focus your energy on people who make you feel good.
We all know the saying, “you can’t choose your family”. So, make sure you’re smart and choose friends who are worthy of your valuable time and attention. It sounds harsh, but you cannot keep every friend you have ever made. No one has the time and energy for that. If you don’t consciously choose which relationships to focus on, you’ll spread yourself too thin and you’ll have less to give to those who deserve it most.

Do not be fooled by glamour and street cred. A person’s behavior is much more important than their words or how they represent themselves. Surround yourself with people who reflect the person you want to be. Choose friends you are proud to know, people you admire, who love and respect you. People who make your day a little sunnier, simply by being in it.

Make time. Prioritize Relationships.
If you have to really think about the last time you were in contact with a friend, then it was too long ago. Life can run at a crazy pace. We may think of people, then something comes up and we never call them. The month ends, another comes along, and again that call is never made. This is how relationships peter out. It starts to feel easier to walk away than struggle back through the neglect.

Don’t fall into the habit of thinking I’ll “try and find the time”. It’s a cop-out. You cannot find time. You make time. Every day you decide where to put your attention, and those activities will in turn create your day, your week and eventually your life. Be mindful of where you focus your time and energy. Does this match your values and how you want your life to be? There’s no use saying “my family and friends are the most important thing” if you work 80 hours a week and never see them. Be conscious of how you spend your time and choose to prioritize the people in your life.

The easiest way to make time for friends is to organize future gatherings while you are all together. Make time for that first meeting, and then work out the timing of the next one. That way you’ll manage to regularly see each other and there is less stress all round. The reality is most of our relationships need work. Make the time to send an email or give a quick phone call to show your friends they matter. Otherwise how will they know?

Treat others how you want to be treated.
This is one of the first lessons my mother taught me, and it is probably the most important. You may have heard of the law of attraction, which states that what we project to the world will be sent right back to us. This means you must decide what qualities are important to you, because you cannot receive what you do not give.

Personally, I don’t think you can go past honesty, loyalty and integrity as a foundation for choosing friends. Be considerate. Don’t make plans you won’t keep. Be a safe haven for your friends, someone they can rely on. What qualities rank highly for you? Do you just want some laughs every now and then, or people who will be there for you when life throws you a curve ball?

Have fun. Share rituals. Laugh Often.
Any long term relationship, friendships included, can fall into a rut. Take the time to have fun, maybe do the activities you loved when you were young. If life isn’t fun, then what’s the point? Misery shared is still… well, misery. Focus on joy and laughter and your friendships will stay a positive presence in your life.

Hold onto rituals. They connect you with your friends and your youth. Shared memories help define our life and how we see ourselves. Don’t throw them away just because they’re getting harder to manage. The key is to negotiate. Maybe you used to have weekly poker games, but now you have three kids, so what do you do? Have the poker games once a month, and let your partner also have a night out to re-connect with their friends. You’ll both benefit.

Accept people the way they are. Suspend judgment.
Some people are good with phone calls, others are not. Some people always know the right thing to say, others seem to have a knack for getting it all wrong. The key with managing friendships and reducing conflict is to accept people the way they are. We all have different strengths and weaknesses. Fighting your friends’ natural personality is a losing battle. We cannot control other people, and frankly, we have no right to try. The sooner we accept this, the easier all our relationships become.

Respect boundaries.
Don’t criticize your friend’s partner, children, parenting style or family. This is always a no, no. We may all like to rant about our loved ones, but we do not want to hear anyone else do it. This is a golden rule. Stencil it on your forehead if you must.

There will be disagreements. Stay calm. Don’t make mountains out of molehills.
Drama is a part of life, but we don’t have to wallow in it. Things happen, ugly words can be exchanged. This is the nature of human relationships. Before you react to a hurtful situation with a friend, always stop and breathe. Try not to react in anger. Express your feelings honestly, but calmly. I’m not saying that it’s easy, but it is the best way to minimize conflict and angst in life. And bottling up feelings doesn’t help either. They just fester and we stay angry and are unable to move on.

Accept that friendships change and sometimes end.
Although I’ve had the majority of my friendships since I was a teenager, there are times in life when people change enough as to have nothing in common anymore. Sometimes this is temporary, other times it’s not. Either way, the best thing you can do when a relationship falters is to let it go. That doesn’t mean immediately deciding not to see each other anymore. Letting go means choosing to see the friendship as it is now, and releasing the need for it to be something else. Relationships have an energy of their own. They can ebb and flow. Sometimes you’re not quite clicking, other times you are. Petering out friendships can be very stressful, but change is a part of life and relationships which do end can still be treasured for what they brought before. They don’t have to be a mistake. And every time a gap appears, life will usually move in to fill it. Maybe this will be in the form of a new friend, or a even better relationship with yourself. Keep an open mind and an open heart, and wait and see

Treat yourself with kindness and respect, and others will do the same.
This is probably the most important point. You cannot be a friend to others, if you are not a friend to yourself. Have you ever noticed that some people are taken advantage of by everyone. They attract users and frauds like honey. This is not a coincidence. If you want other people to treat you with respect, then you need to be the first person in line to respect yourself. Being a good friend does not mean being a doormat. The kinder you are to yourself the happier you will be. The happier you are, the more you have to give to others. It is one big merry-go-round of happiness. Join the ride.

10 Things you can do when Windows XP won't boot

10 Things you can do when Windows XP won't boot

When your computer hardware appears to power up okay, but the Windows XP operating system won't boot properly, you have to begin a troubleshooting expedition that includes getting into the operating system, determining the problem, and then fixing it. To help you get started on this expedition, here are 10 things you can do when Windows XP won't boot.
#1.Use a Windows startup disk :

One of the first things you should reach for when troubleshooting a Windows XP boot problem is a Windows startup disk. This floppy disk can come in handy if the problem is being caused when either the startup record for the active partition or the files that the operating system uses to start Windows have become corrupted.

To create a Windows startup disk, insert a floppy disk into the drive of a similarly configured, working Windows XP system, launch My Computer, right-click the floppy disk icon, and select the Format command from the context menu. When you see the Format dialog box, leave all the default settings as they are and click the Start button. Once the format operation is complete, close the Format dialog box to return to My Computer, double-click the drive C icon to access the root directory, and copy the following three files to the floppy disk:

    Boot.ini
    NTLDR
    Ntdetect.com

After you create the Windows startup disk, insert it into the floppy drive on the afflicted system and press [Ctrl][Alt][Delete] to reboot the computer. When you boot from the Windows startup disk, the computer will bypass the active partition and boot files on the hard disk and attempt to start Windows XP normally.
Use Last Known Good Configuration :

You can also try to boot the operating system with the Last Known Good Configuration feature. This feature will allow you to undo any changes that caused problems in the CurrentControlSet registry key, which defines hardware and driver settings. The Last Known Good Configuration feature replaces the contents of the CurrentControlSet registry key with a backup copy that was last used to successfully start up the operating system.

II Method (Also applicable to Vista and Windows 7) booting from usb device: Try these 2 USB Flash Drive Utilities by HP/Compaq. They work with Most other brands of flash drives as well.

"I would put a little extra in there." Says a fan who emailed me with no name:)

For the downloads section I use nLite to make and create the image file as you can import the service packs and do some tweaking to the install files.

http://www.nliteos.com/download.html

1. Install the HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool and run the program.
2. Select the Device and the File system from the drop down menus and click start.
3. Close the above program and install and run the HP Drive Key Boot Utility. Selecting the appropriate drive letter. Click Next.
4.Select the circle on the top that says create New or Replace Existing Configuration. Click Next.
5. Select the circle labeled Hard Drive. Click Next.
6. Select Create New Filesystem. Click Next.
7. Select the circle labeled HP Firmware Flash Package. Click Next.
Click Finish

#2. To use the Last Known Good Configuration feature, first restart the computer by pressing [Ctrl][Alt][Delete]. When you see the message Please select the operating system to start or hear the single beep, press [F8] to display the Windows Advanced Options menu. Select the Last Known Good Configuration item from the menu and press [Enter].

Keep in mind that you get only one shot with the Last Known Good Configuration feature. In other words, if it fails to revive your Windows XP on the first attempt, the backup copy is also corrupt.
#3. Use System Restore :

Another tool that might be helpful when Windows XP won't boot is System Restore. System Restore runs in the background as a service and continually monitors system-critical components for changes. When it detects an impending change, System Restore immediately makes backup copies, called restore points, of these critical components before the change occurs. In addition, System Restore is configured by default to create restore points every 24 hours.

To use System Restore, first restart the computer by pressing [Ctrl][Alt][Delete]. When you see the message Please select the operating system to start or hear the single beep, press [F8] to display the Windows Advanced Options menu. Now, select the Safe Mode item from the menu and press [Enter].

Once Windows XP boots into Safe mode, click the Start button, access the All Programs | Accessories | System Tools menu, and select System Restore. Because you're running in Safe mode, the only option on the opening screen of the System Restore wizard is Restore Ly Computer To An Earlier Time, and it's selected by default, so just click Next. Then, follow along with the wizard to select a restore point and begin the restoration procedure.
#4. Use Recovery Console :

When a Windows XP boot problem is severe, you'll need to use a more drastic approach. The Windows XP CD is bootable and will provide you with access to a tool called Recovery Console.

To boot from the Windows XP CD, insert it into the CD-ROM drive on the problem system and press [Ctrl][Alt][Delete] to reboot the computer. Once the system begins booting from the CD, simply follow the prompts that will allow the loading of the basic files needed to run Setup. When you see the Welcome To Setup screen, press R to start the Recovery Console.

You’ll then see a Recovery Console menu. It displays the folder containing the operating system’s files and prompts you to choose the operating system you want to log on to. Just press the menu number on the keyboard, and you'll be prompted to enter the Administrator’s password. You’ll then find yourself at the main Recovery Console prompt.
#5. Fix a corrupt Boot.ini :

As the Windows XP operating system begins to load, the Ntldr program refers to the Boot.ini file to determine where the operating system files reside and which options to enable as the operating system continues to load. So if there's a problem rooted in the Boot.ini file, it can render Windows XP incapable of booting correctly.

If you suspect that Windows XP won't boot because Boot.ini has been corrupted, you can use the special Recovery Console version of the Bootcfg tool to fix it. Of course, you must first boot the system with the Windows XP CD and access the Recovery Console as described in #4.

To use the Bootcfg tool, from the Recovery Console command prompt, type

Bootcfg /parameter

Where /parameter is one of the required parameters listed in the table below.

Parameter Description :

/Add Scans the disk for all Windows installations and allows
you to add any new ones to the Boot.ini file.

/Scan Scans the disk for all Windows installations.

/List Lists each entry in the Boot.ini file.

/Default Sets the default operating system as the main boot

entry.

/Rebuild Completely re-creates the Boot.ini file. The user must

confirm each step.

/Redirect Allows the boot operation to be redirected to a specific

port when using the Headless Administration feature. The
Redirect parameter takes two parameters of its own:

[Port Baudrate ] | [UseBiosSettings].

/Disableredirect Disables the redirection.

#6. Fix a corrupt partition boot sector :

The partition boot sector is a small section of the hard disk partition that contains information about the operating system's file system (NTFS or FAT32), as well as a very small machine language program that is crucial in assisting the operating system as it loads.

If you suspect that Windows XP won't boot because the partition boot sector has been corrupted, you can use a special Recovery Console tool called Fixboot to fix it. Start by booting the system with the Windows XP CD and accessing the Recovery Console as described in #4.

To use the Fixboot tool, from the Recovery Console command prompt, type

Fixboot [drive]:

Where [drive] is the letter of the drive to which you want to write a new partition boot sector.
#7. Fix a corrupt master boot record :

The master boot record occupies the first sector on the hard disk and is responsible for initiating the Windows boot procedure. The master boot record contains the partition table for the disk as well as a small program called the master boot code, which is responsible for locating the active, or bootable, partition, in the partition table. Once this occurs, the partition boot sector takes over and begins loading Windows. If the master boot record is corrupt, the partition boot sector can't do its job and Windows won't boot.

If you suspect Windows XP won't boot because the master boot record has been corrupted, you can use the Recovery Console tool Fixmbr to fix it. First, boot the system with the Windows XP CD and access the Recovery Console as described in #4.

To use the Fixmbr tool, from the Recovery Console command prompt, type

Fixmbr [device_name]

Where [device_name] is the device pathname of the drive to which you want to write a new master boot record. For example, the device pathname format for a standard bootable drive C configuration would look like this:

\Device\HardDisk0

#8. Disable automatic restart :

When Windows XP encounters a fatal error, the default setting for handling such an error is to automatically reboot the system. If the error occurs while Windows XP is booting, the operating system will become stuck in a reboot cycle—rebooting over and over instead of starting up normally. In that case, you'll need to disable the option for automatically restarting on system failure.

When Windows XP begins to boot up and you see the message Please select the operating system to start or hear the single beep, press [F8] to display the Windows Advanced Options Menu. Then, select the Disable The Automatic Restart On System Failure item and press [Enter]. Now, Windows XP will hang up when it encounters the error and with any luck, it will display a stop message you can use to diagnose the problem.
#9. Restore from a backup :

If you can't seem to repair a Windows XP system that won't boot and you have a recent backup, you can restore the system from the backup media. The method you use to restore the system will depend on what backup utility you used, so you'll need to follow the utility's instructions on how to perform a restore operation.
#10. Perform an in-place upgrade :

If you can't repair a Windows XP system that won't boot and you don't have a recent backup, you can perform an in-place upgrade. Doing so reinstalls the operating system into the same folder, just as if you were upgrading from one version of Windows to another. An in-place upgrade will usually solve most, if not all, Windows boot problems.

Performing a Windows XP in-place upgrade is pretty straightforward. To begin, insert the Windows XP CD into the drive, restart your system, and boot from the CD. Once the initial preparation is complete, you’ll see the Windows XP Setup screen (shown earlier in Figure A). Press [Enter] to launch the Windows XP Setup procedure. In a moment, you’ll see the License Agreement page and will need to press [F8] to acknowledge that you agree. Setup will then search the hard disk looking for a previous installation of Windows XP. When it finds the previous installation, you’ll see a second Windows XP Setup screen

This screen will prompt you to press R to repair the selected installation or to press [Esc] to install a fresh copy of Windows XP. In this case, initiating a repair operation is synonymous with performing an in-place upgrade, so you’ll need to press R. When you do so, Setup will examine the disk drives in the system. It will then begin performing the in-place upgrade.

Keep in mind that after you perform an in-place upgrade or repair installation, you must reinstall all updates to Windows.

PC Cleanup And Baddies Prevention

 PC Cleanup And Baddies Prevention
I just formatted my hard drive because I got lazy in looking after it, and I won't let it happen again . So I also decided to write you guys a guide about keeping your computer safe and clean. This is mostly intended for those newbie among us, but it may be useful for other people too .

Also this guide is intended for Windows XP so it my not be entirely right for other OS's.
Cleaning Up :

It is very important to keep your computer clean of crap and in good shape.

Manually Cleaning :
It is a good idea to always delete what you don't need. Delete any icons, those many .rars that are probably clogging up your desktop , and any other files you don't need. Clear out your Downloads folder (if you have one), and My Documents of any crap.

Use Add or Remove Programs to uninstall the programs you don't need any longer. To do this, go to: Start --> Control Panel --> Add or Remove Programs.

Also, have a look through Program Files as uninstalled programs can leave annoying files behind. So, right click your Start button. then go Explore. Just delete files and folders of programs you know you've uninstalled.

Clear out your temporary folder, to make sure there is nothing harmful in there. First, make sure all Browsers are closed. Go to... Start --> Run --> Type %TEMP% . Delete you can in there, as some files/folders may still be in use. Best to do this as soon as you boot up.

Disk Cleanup :
This is a very useful tool in getting rid of unwanted crap. To get to it go to... Start --> All Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> Disk Cleanup.

Select your primary drive, and click OK. It will come up with a list of items that it can clean up, eg. Recycle Bin, Temporary Internet Files, Download Program Files as well as a brief description for each of them.

Disk Defragmenter :
It is very important to do this about every 2-3 weeks, or if your install something big. This clears your drives of fragmented files to help them run quicker and more efficient. To get to it go: Start --> All Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> Disk Defragmenter.

Scan Disk :
This checks your disks for errors then tries to fix them. Sometimes you may have to run this before you defragment.
Go to: Start --> My Computer --> Right click C: (or what ever drive you use) --> Properties --> Tools --> and under Error-checking click Check Now.

Check both the options then click Start. It will say you need to reboot to use it so do so and let it run.
Viruses :

What files are viruses?
You cannot usually get a virus from something as simple as downloading a program, though it does depend on the download method. You cannot get a virus from a webpage, though you can get infected with spyware in the form of browser executables (cookies, actX codecs etc.). But, you can get a virus from running a program, particularly .exe files, or even anything else that actually does something other than just putting a file there.

Generally zip files are harmless (possibly not whats inside them), but be aware of self extracting zip files as they are actually executables themselves and can quite easily install viruses or spyware.

So now that you know what files are possibly viruses, what can you do to best protect against them? Download a anti-virus software. There are many Anti-Virus programs out there. Here are the best in my opinion.

NOD32 - I find this to be the absolute best Anti-Virus out there. Low memory usage and get detection. It is not free, so search and download a copy here.

http://www.eset.com/products/windows.php

Kaspersky Anti-Virus - This is another good one, some find it better then NOD32. Shareware, so search it out on warez-bb.
http://www.kaspersky.com/downloads/trials/kis-trial-register

AVG Anti-Virus - This is a great free one, you could try the free or use the PRO version.
copy and paste in the browser.

Avast! - This is another great free one, available in Home (free) and PRO.
http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

Spyware :

Spyware is nasty and very common. Here are a few good programs to prevent it.

Mozilla Firefox - You should definitely be using this instead of Internet Explorer. It is a lot safer (not executing ActiveX programs etc.) plus has a ton of addons to go with it.
Use the 8th version.
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
Spybot: Search and Destroy: Probably the best Anti-Spyware software out, and it's free. Update, and scan with this. Be sure to also immunize if you use Internet Explorer.
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html
Ad-Aware 2010- Another excellent spyware remover, find the PRO version here on warez-bb.

System Changes To Foil Hackers And Browser Hijacker

System Changes To Foil Hackers And Browser Hijacker
Hackers and Browser Hijacking is one area of the Net that affects everyone at some stage.
In addition to having third party utilities such as SpyBot, Anti Virus scanners and firewalls installed there are some changes that can be made to Windows 2000/XP. Below are some details to make your system safer from hackers and hijackers.

Some of these tips require editing of the Registry so it is wise to either backup the registry and/or create a Restore Point.

1. Clearing the Page File at Shutdown
Windows 2000/XP paging file (Sometimes called the Swap File) can contain sensitive information such as plaintext passwords. Someone capable of accessing your system could scan that file and find its information. You can force windows to clear out this file.

In the registry navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SYSTEM\ CurrentControlSet\ControlSession\ManagerMemory\Management and add or edit the DWORD ClearPageFileAtShutdown. Set it to 1.

Note that when you do this, the system will take much longer to shut down: a system with a really big Page File (! Gig or more) may take a minute or two longer.

2. Disable the POSIX and OS/2 Subsystem.
Windows 2000 and XP come with little-documented subsystems it at allow compatibility with UNIX and OS/2 systems These rues systems are enabled by default but so rarely used that they are best off bring disabled completely to prevent possible service hijackings.

To disable these subsystems, open the registry and navigate to HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControl\ SetControlSession\ManagerSubSystems\. Delete the subkeys Os2 and Posix. then reboot.

3. Never leave default passwords blank.
On installation, Windows 2000 sets up an Administrator account with total system access and prompts for a password. Guess what: by default, it allows that password to be blank. If a user doesn't want to type a password, he can simply click Next and the system will be an open door for anyone who wants to log on. Always opt for a password of some kind when setting up the default account on a machine.

4. Install Windows In a different directory.
Windows usually installs itself in the WINDOWS directory. Windows NT 4 0 and 2000 Will opt for WINNT. Many worms and other rogue programs assume this to be the case and attempt to exploit those folders files. To defeat this install Windows to another directory when you're setting it up - you can specify the name of the directory during setup. WINDIR is okay; so some people use WNDWS - A few (not that many) programs may not install properly if you install Windows to another folder but t hey are very few and they are far between.

5. Fake out hackers with a dummy Administrator account
Since the default account in Windows 2000 is always named Administrator, an enterprising hacker can try to break into your system by attempting to guess the password on that account. It you never bothered to put a password on that account, say your prayers.

Rather than be a sucker to a hacker, put a password on the Administrator account it you haven't done so already. Then change the name of the Administrator account. You'll still be able to use the account under its new name, since Windows identifies user accounts by a back-end ID number rather than the name. Finally, create a new account named Administrator and disable it. This should frustrate any would -be break-ins.

You can add new accounts and change the names of existing accounts in Windows 2000 through the Local Users and Groups snap in. Right-click on My Computer, select Manager, open the Local Users and Groups subtree, look in the Users folder and right-click on any name to rename it. To add a new user, right-click on the containing folder and select New User. Finally, to disable an account, double-click it, check the Account is disabled box and click OK.

Don't ever delete the original Administrator account. Some programs refuse to install without it and you might have to log in under that account at some point to setup such software. The original Administrator account is configured with a security ID that must continue to be present in the system.

6. Disable the Guest account
Windows XP comes with a Guest account that's used for limited access, but it's still possible to do some damage with it. Disable it completely if you are not using it. Under Control Panel, select User Accounts, click on Guest Account and then select Turn Off the Guest Account.

7. Set the Hosts file to read-only to prevent name hijacking.
This one's from (and to a degree, for) the experts. The HOSTS file is a text file that all flavors of Windows use to hold certain network addresses that never change. When a network name and address is placed in HOSTS, the computer uses the address listed there for that network name rather than performing a lookup (which can take time). Experts edit this file to place their most commonly-visited sites into it, speeding things up considerably.

Unfortunately hijackers and hackers also love to put their own information into it - redirecting people from their favorite sites to places they don't want to go. One of the most common entries in HOSTS is local host which is set 1770.0.1. This refers to the local machine and if this entry is damaged the computer can behave very unpredictably.

To prevent HOSTS from being hijacked, set it to read-only. Go to the folder %Systemroot%system32driversetc, right-click on HOSTS, select Properties check the Read-Only box and click OK. If you want to add your own entries to HOSTS, you can unprotect it before doing so, but always remember to set it to read-only after you're done.

8. Disallow changes to IE settings through IE
This is another anti hijacker tip. IE can be set so that any changes to its settings must be performed through the Internet icon in the Control Panel, rather than through IE's own interface. Some particularly unscrupulous programs or sites try to tamper with setting by accessing the Tools, Options menu in IE. You can disable this and still make changes to IE's settings through the Control Panel.

Open the Registry and browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \Software\Policies\MicrosoftInternetExplorer\Restrictions\. Create or edit a new DWORD value named NoBrowserUptions and set it to 1 (this is a per-user setting). Some third-party programs such as Spybot Search And Destroy allow you to toggle this setting.

You can also keep IE from having other programs rename its default startup page, another particularly annoying form of hijacking. Browse to HKEY.CURRENT USERSoftwarePolicies MicrosoftInternet ExploreControl Panel and add or edit a DWORD, Homepage and set it to 1.

9. Turn off unneeded Services
Windows 2000 and XP both come with many background services that don't need to he running most of the time: Alerter, Messenger, Server (If you're running a standalone machine with no file or printer shares), NetMeeting Remote Desktop Sharing, Remote Desktop Help Session Manager (the last two if you're not using Remote Desktop or NetMeeting), Remote Registry, Routing and Remote Access (if you're not using Remote Access), SSDP Discovery Service, Telnet, and Universal Plug and Play Device Host.

A good resource and instruction on which of these services can be disabled go to http://www.blkviper.com/WinXP/

10. Disable simple File Shares.
In Windows XP Professional, the Simple File Sharing mode is easily exploited, since it’s a little too easy to share out a file across your LAN (or the NET at large). To turn it off, go m My Computer, click Tools, Folder Option and the View tab, and uncheck Use Simple file sharing (Recommended). Click OK. When you do this you can access the Security tab in the Properties window for all folders; set permissions for folders; and take ownership of objects (but not in XP Home).

How to Break a BIOS Password ?

How to Break a BIOS Password ?

Methods of breaking password for Desktop PC and for laptop is quite different. We would explain each.
Break BIOS Password for Desktop :

If it's a desktop PC, erasing the cmos memory will usually clear it.
Steps:

Power off the computer and make sure that it is unplugged.
Open up your computer case. You need physical access to the motherboard to complete this procedure.
Find a circular, (mostly) silver metallic object on the motherboard. This is the CMOS battery.
CAREFULLY remove the CMOS battery and leave it out for about 120- 180 seconds. This will flush the CMOS memory which stores the BIOS password and all other configuration. (See Warnings)
Set the battery back into place and power on the computer.
The computer should then warn you that the CMOS configuration could not be found. You can either reconfigure it yourself or restore defaults. Restoring the default configuration should be fine.
You will notice that the BIOS password has been cleared and you can boot without it. You may reset the BIOS password to something else by going into the BIOS configuration and setting a new User Password.

Alternate Methos: (More Dificult)

Remove a jumper: There's a jumper on your motherboard that you'll need to identify and remove. Most motherboards make your job easier by actually labeling the correct jumper as "BIOS config" or something similar. (it looks like a small plastic thingy on 2 pins with 1 pin beside it, within a 1" of the battery). If you're having trouble looking for it, look in the motherboard manual. After you have found it, carefuly pull straight up on it, and place it on the 2-3 pins(it was on the 1-2 pins). With the battery removed and the jumper moved, turn the computer on, and check to see if you can get into the bios. If you are able to, turn the computer off, put the jumper back on pins 1-2, and put the battery back in. Lastly put the case together and you are done.

Note: Don't forget to configure the BIOS (if you know how) after this process. If you you don't know how, just hold the "delete" button when starting your PC and when the blue screen appears, find the load safe defaults settings and press:

    ENTER button
    Y button
    F10 button

Break BIOS Password for Laptop :

Remember that laptops can be trickier, especially if it's a newer model. If it has a security chip on the motherboard forget about it. You either have to physically remove the chip or contact the mfg for the "master" password. If you can boot up off of a cd or floppy try any of these methods:

Create a Win98SE bootable media "or anything that lets you boot into MS-DOS" and boot off of it.
When the A:\> prompt appears type debug and press enter.
You will then only see a "-".
Type o 70 2E "include the spaces" and press Enter.
Type o 71 ff "include the spaces" and press Enter.
    Type q and press Enter.
Here are a list of common mfg backdoor passwords

AWARD BIOS
AWARD SW, AWARD_SW, Award SW, AWARD PW, _award, awkward, J64, j256, j262, j332, j322, 01322222, 589589, 589721, 595595, 598598, HLT, SER, SKY_FOX, aLLy, aLLY, Condo, CONCAT, TTPTHA, aPAf, HLT, KDD, ZBAAACA, ZAAADA, ZJAAADC,
        AMI BIOS
AMI, A.M.I., AMI SW, AMI_SW, BIOS, PASSWORD, HEWITT RAND, Oder

Softwares to Break BIOS Password:

If your system boots but the BIOS password is still in place, there are several programs you can load that are designed to crack the passwords or clear them altogether. The encryption on BIOS passwords is not very complex. Following are links to a few of these free programs:

20 New Management Styles in Corporates !!

20 New Management Styles in Corporates !!

1) MANAGING BY WALKING FASTER THEN THE EMPLOYEES
These kind of managers you will always see in the corridor, ten steps away. "We'll have to talk" you can hear them say, just as they have disappeared around the corner.

2) MANAGING BY STARING OUT OF THE WINDOW
These managers you usually meet with their backside faced to you with their hands in their pockets. When you talk to them, their thoughts keep staring out of the windows.

3) MANAGING BY POST-IT'S
Some managers forget everything. They want to impress you with their 'busy'ness by continuously writing on Post-it's while you are talking.

4) MANAGING BY DELEGATION TO THE SECRETARY
These managers just delegate everything to the secretary. If He is good, He knows what she must do.

5) MANAGING BY KNOWING NOTHING
These managers don't really know anything at all. They let YOU give answers. Meanwhile they fill the time with nice anecdotes of irrelevant cases.

6) MANAGING BY CONCEPTUAL THINKING
These people try to explain the present from a theoretical view of the far future. The idea that this never will work, completely satisfies them: They will always have something to talk about.

7) MANAGING BY HIDING INFORMATION
Information hiders are aware of the market value of strictly secret kept information. You must be very thankful to get any information at all. Beware of simulants from category 5!

8) MANAGING BY DOING EXACTLY WHAT THE BOSS SAYS
These managers prevent their bosses from creative thinking. Else they got more work to do.

9) MANAGING BY WALKING ONE FOOT BEHIND THE BOSS
In hierarchical organizations you can watch those groups walking in the corridor. The more equal managers are directly followed by the lesser equal managers, and so on.

10) MANAGING BY SMILING AND WEARING NICE SUITS
If you drink beer with them, lunch with them, smile to them and also wear nice suits, nothing can stop your career anymore.

11) MANAGING BY STUDYING
Despite their continual attendances of all kind of studies and congresses, they still belong to category 5. The longer they learn, the further they get from the practice.

12) MANAGING BY CREATING VAGUE OVERHEAD SHEETS
Do you know them? Those sheets with some big arrows, boxes or circles? These sheets provide the ultimate proof of their overall brilliance.

13) MANAGING BY OPEN DOOR AND EMPTY ROOM
This is a major improvement of the older 'OPEN DOOR' management style. Now you can really walk in and out anytime you want. Nobody ever knows where these managers are.

14) MANAGING BY SPEAKING WITH OTHER MANAGERS
This kind of managing is very popular. It will give them within a few hours the same information as an employee can tell them in 15 minutes.

15) MANAGING BY HAVING A NON SUPPORTING INFRASTRUCTURE
In an organization with a hopeless infrastructure, managers are really necessary. These managers will naturally prevent the organization from having a better infrastructure.

16) BUA MANAGEMENT (BY USING ABBREVIATIONS)
This management style is ATRASACWOC. ( Adopted To Reach A Shorter And Clearer Way Of Communication )

17) MANAGING BY USING BUZZ WORDS
These managers like to bluff your head off with hip, nearly undefined, terms.

18) MANAGING BY REORGANIZATION
If they think there is nothing more to organize, they reorganize.

19) MANAGING BY BELIEVING
These managers must be spiritual educated, because they have no clues at all.

20) MANAGING BY FORGETTING PROMISES
If you remind them to one of their promisses, the priority of that promise is to low to remember.

Understanding the Meaning of Colors in Color Psychology

Understanding the Meaning of Colors in Color Psychology

The meaning of colors can vary depending on culture and circumstances. Each color has many aspects to it but you can easily learn the language of color by understanding a few simple concepts which I will teach you here.

Color is a form of non verbal communication. It is not a static energy and its meaning can change from one day to the next with any individual. For example, a person may choose to wear red one day and this may indicate they are ready to take action, or they may be passionate about what they are going to be doing that day, or again it may mean that they are feeling angry that day, on either a conscious or subconscious level. For more on the meaning of colors for the color red

The color orange is the color of social communication and optimism. From a negative color meaning it is also a sign of pessimism and superficiality.

In the meanings of color in color psychology, the color yellow is the color of the mind and the intellect. It is optimistic and cheerful. However it can also suggest impatience, criticism and cowardice.

Green is the color of balance and growth. It can mean both self-reliance as a positive and possessiveness as a negative, among many other meanings.

Blue is the color of trust and peace. It can suggest loyalty and integrity as well as conservatism and frigidity.

Indigo is the color of intuition. In the meanings of colors it can mean idealism and structure as well as ritualistic and addictive.

Purple is the color of the imagination. It can be creative and individual or immature and impractical.

The color meaning of turquoise is communication and clarity of mind. It can also be impractical and idealistic.

The color psychology of pink is unconditional love and nurturing. Pink can also be immature, silly and girlish.

In the meaning of colors, magenta is a color of universal harmony and emotional balance. It is spiritual yet practical, encouraging common sense and a balanced outlook on life.

The color brown is a serious, down-to-earth color that relates to security, protection and material wealth.

From a color psychology perspective, gray is the color of compromise - being neither black nor white, it is the transition between two non-colors.

The color silver has a feminine energy; it is related to the moon and the ebb and flow of the tides - it is fluid, emotional, sensitive and mysterious.

Gold is the color of success, achievement and triumph. Associated with abundance and prosperity, luxury and quality, prestige and sophistication, value and elegance, the color psychology of gold implies affluence, material wealth and extravagance.

White is color at its most complete and pure, the color of perfection. The color meaning of white is purity, innocence, wholeness and completion.

Black is the color of the hidden, the secretive and the unknown, creating an air of mystery. It keeps things bottled up inside, hidden from the world.

Health Benefits of Minerals to body

Health Benefits of Minerals to body

Minerals are very similar to vitamins, in that they function in the body as co-enzymes. They are little helpers. They help the body perform its daily internal chemistry.

Minerals are needed to help keep the blood and body fluids in their proper state. They are also needed to help form bone and support the nervous system. Minerals are important!

We find minerals as natural occurring elements on earth. We fine minerals in stone, rock, dust, sand and soil. This is proof of how close we resonate with the earth. Minerals are eaten by plants and we in turn eat the plants and grab their properties.

There are two types of minerals - trace and bulk.

The trace minerals are zinc, iodine, selenium, iron, copper, chromium and manganese.

The bulk minerals are needed in larger amounts by the body than trace minerals. They are calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and sodium.

There are some minerals that are available in chelated form to improve absorption. This allows the minerals to attach to a protein in order to transport it to the bloodstream to enhance absorption. When the mineral is absorbed, it is carried to the by blood to the cells. Once it reaches the cell, it crosses the cell membrane so that the cell can utilize it.

Because minerals are stored mostly in bone and muscle tissue, it is nearly impossible to overdose on them. The only way toxic amounts can accumulate in the body is if mega dosages are taken for an extended period of time.

Below is detailed List of Different Minerals :

BORON

DESCRIPTION: Boron is a trace mineral and is only needed in trace amounts. It helps metabolize calcium to maintain healthy bones. So why even take Boron if so little is required? In a group of post-menopausal women studied by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, boron was shown to significantly reduce the affect of calcium loss. So we can say that Boron is a sociable trace mineral with calcium and magnesium. It was also found that women who took Boron had double the blood level of the most active form of estrogen.

POTENTIAL BENEFITS: Helps protect against the demineralization of calcium, magnesium and phosphorus in our bones.

POTENTIAL SIDE EFFECTS: None known when taken as directed.

POTENTIAL INTERACTION: None known

GENERAL USAGE: May be taken daily up to 3 mg. per day.

FOOD SOURCES: Almonds, cider, dates, fruits, grains, green leafy vegetables, nuts, peanuts, prunes, raisins, soybeans, and wine.

CALCIUM

DESCRIPTION: Calcium is essential in order to form healthy teeth and bones. It also promotes a regular heartbeat and is important in nerve transmission. We also use calcium to grow muscle, contract muscle and to prevent those terrible cramping muscles during menses. It may prevent colon cancer, and lower blood pressure. If you have a shortage of calcium, where do you think the calcium would be leached? Of course, from our teeth and bones. Supplementing calcium in the diet can also prevent against osteoporosis.

POTENTIAL BENEFITS: Maintains healthy bones, cells, teeth, muscles, tissues, and the production of energy. Promotes a healthy heart and normalizes blood clotting.

POTENTIAL SIDE EFFECTS: None known when taken as directed.

POTENTIAL INTERACTION: May interfere with the Rx - verapamil. If you are suffering from kidney stones of kidney disease, you should avoid calcium supplements and contact your doctor for recommendations.

GENERAL USAGE: May be taken daily.

FOOD SOURCES: Almonds, asparagus, broccoli, buttermilk, cabbage, carob, cheese, collard greens, dairy, dandelion, dulse, figs, filberts, goat's milk, green leafy vegetables, kale, kelp, mustard greens, nonfat yogurt, oats, parsley, prunes, sardines, salmon, seafood, sesame seeds, skim milk, tofu, turnip greens, whey and yogurt.

CHROMIUM
DESCRIPTION: Chromium is a trace mineral and is needed for energy. It increases the metabolism of glucose and helps make cholesterol, fats and proteins. It helps to maintain blood sugar levels in hypoglycemics and diabetics.

POTENTIAL BENEFITS: Supports the metabolism of glucose and energy production. It also supports the cardiovascular system and cholesterol levels.

POTENTIAL SIDE EFFECTS: None known when taken as directed.

POTENTIAL INTERACTION: None known.

GENERAL USAGE: May be taken daily.

FOOD SOURCES: Beer, brewer's yeast, brown rice, cheese, red meat, chicken, corn, dairy products, mushrooms, potatoes (with skin), oysters, nuts, and liver.

COPPER

DESCRIPTION: Copper is an essential trace mineral and is involved in enzymatic reactions. It appears in high concentrations in the liver and brain. It aids in the formation of red blood cells, hemoglobin, and bone. It also works synergistically with Vitamin C and Zinc. It plays a role in our taste, hair and skin color.

POTENTIAL BENEFITS: Helps support the nervous system and aids in strong, flexible connective tissue.

POTENTIAL SIDE EFFECTS: If you have Wilson's Disease you should not take copper.

POTENTIAL INTERACTION: In combination with zinc, up to 3 mg of copper a day is considered safe as it may decrease the absorption of copper.

GENERAL USAGE: May be taken daily.

FOOD SOURCES: Liver, oats, oranges, shellfish, nuts, raisins, salmon, almonds, avocados, barley, beans, beets, blackstrap molasses, pecans, radishes, raisins, seafood, soybeans, green leafy vegetables, broccoli, dandelion greens, garlic, lentils seeds, cocoa powder, beans, whole grains, and mushrooms.

IODINE

DESCRIPTION: Iodine, a trace mineral. It is used by the thyroid to produce thyroxine. Thyroxin is a hormone which helps regulate energy production, body temperature, breathing, muscle tone and the maintenance of tissues. A deficiency in children may result in mental retardation. And in adults, a deficiency has been linked to breast cancer.

POTENTIAL BENEFITS: Supports your energy production, skin, nerves and reproductive function. Helps prevent against goiter.

POTENTIAL SIDE EFFECTS: None are known when taken as directed.

POTENTIAL INTERACTION: None known

GENERAL USAGE: May be taken daily.

FOOD SOURCES: Iodized salt, lobster, shrimp, cooked oysters, marine fish, soybeans, seaweed, breads, salt-water fish, white deep-water fish, garlic, lima beans, sea salt, dulse, asparagus, spinach, squash, Swiss chard, turnip greens and milk.

IRON

DESCRIPTION: Iron is vital in the formation of red blood cells (RBC's). Iron's most important function is its production of hemoglobin and oxygenation of RBC's. Iron is the mineral found in the largest amounts in the blood.

POTENTIAL BENEFITS: Iron builds up the quality of blood and increases the body's resistance to disease and stress. Iron attracts oxygen to the body and carries oxygen to the all body systems, tissues and organs. Iron improves circulation, digestion, elimination and respiration. Iron improves magnetism, optimism, vitality, courage and will. Iron also helps to improve memory and reasoning ability. Iron also helps to prevent colds.

POTENTIAL SIDE EFFECTS: Excessive Iron build-up in the body is associated with a rare disease known as hemochromatosis. Hemochromatosis is a disorder that causes bronze skin pigmentation, cirrhosis of the liver, diabetes and heart conditions. Iron deficiency symptoms include brittle hair and nails that are shaped like a spoon, or the nails will have ridges running lengthwise. Iron deficiency can also cause hair loss, fatigue, dizziness, pallor (paleness) and anemia. Iron deficiency may also result from intestinal bleeding, excessive menstrual bleeding, a diet the is poor or a diet that is high in phosphorus.

Iron deficiencies can also be caused by long-term illness, ulcers, excess coffee or tea consumption and long term use of antacids.

POTENTIAL INTERACTION: Excessive amounts of Vitamin E and Zinc interfere with Iron absorption. Also if you engage in strenuous exercise and perspire excessively, you can possibly deplete Iron from your body. Research indicates that Iron utilization is impaired by Rheumatoid Arthritis and Cancer. This will result in anemia even if adequate amounts of Iron is stored in the bone marrow, liver and spleen.

GENERAL USAGE: May be taken daily. Please consult with your doctor if you have any other the deficiency symptoms listed above.

FOOD SOURCES: Iron is found in whole grains, green leafy vegetables, eggs, fish, liver, meat, poultry and enriched cereals and breads. Iron is also found in almonds, avocados, beets, blackstrap molasses, brewer's yeast, dates, dulse, egg yolks, kelp, kidney beans, lima beans, lentils, millet, parsely, peaches, dried prunes, pumpkins, raisins, rice, wheat bran, sesame
seeds and soybeans.

MAGNESIUM

DESCRIPTION: Magnesium is an essential mineral and helps maintain proper pH balance, protects arterial linings and in the formation of bone. It assists in the uptake of calcium and potassium and assists with the transmission of nerve and muscles health. Magnesium helps prevent twitching, muscle weakness, depression, dizziness and heart conditions.

POTENTIAL BENEFITS: Maintains potassium levels and proper pH balance. Supports the cardiovascular system and healthy blood pressure. Promotes healthy blood sugar levels. Iron also helps to improve memory and reasoning ability. Iron also helps to prevent colds.

POTENTIAL SIDE EFFECTS: None known when taken as directed.

POTENTIAL INTERACTION: Large amounts of alcohol, diarrhea, zinc, and vitamin D all increase the body's need for magnesium.

GENERAL USAGE: May be taken daily.
